The system allows students’ parents to monitor when their children reach the school and return home and check whether the transportation vehicle has committed a speed violation. Optionally, when the transportation vehicle draws near home, an SMS is sent to the parent’s mobile phone and thus his/her unnecessarily waiting outdoors is prevented. The school management and transportation companies can automatically check if the vehicles have committed any violations, the routes they have followed and whether they have arrived home in a timely manner.
